Anthropological approaches to “immigrant mental health” as an object of ethnographic inquiry can illuminate how psychosocial well-being – or decline and the therapeutic realm health is always enacted by a variety institutions social actors. The ways that understood approached across different geographical settings are constitutive range cultural meanings, norms, relations. authors in this special section provide crucial insights into landscape immigrant experience multiple exclusions influences collective well-being. They also illustrate extent which narratives shape production knowledge around immigration health, engendering direct effects on public policy, imaginaries, community health.
